Unrivalled elegance? A Bantry House wedding

Bantry House - you gem of a venue!

Our first visit to Bantry House and my goodness were we blown away. It was worth every extra mile travelled down from Dublin. This isn’t just a venue; it’s statement – modern, stylish, and full of life, perfectly complementing the joyous occasion it served. This place is a gem among Ireland’s wedding venues, and for good reason.

Think less traditional, more ‘wow-factor’. On a sun-soaked wedding day, Bantry House didn’t just serve as a backdrop; it was front and center, showcasing its finesse and flair. I don’t think I have had as much fun or had so much incredible landscape and seascape to work with as flying the drone here!

Perched right by the lively Bantry Bay, the House brought a blend of sophistication and modern vibes to the celebration. It’s the kind of place where the best isn’t just an option; it’s the standard. For Catherine and Andrew, and any couple who knows that only the best will do, Bantry House proved to be the perfect match. It’s right up there with Ballyfin House in our book.

On the day, we were lucky enough to witness a lawn ceremony to the side of the house, overlooking the bay. On sunny Autumnal days like this it’s an absolute dream. As you would expect all of the incredible outdoor areas were used during the reception, my only wish was that I was a guest enjoying it all!

The house oozes history and heritage which makes it all the more appealing, and in more recent times has been run by the White family – when we say recent, we mean since the 1700’s. Catherine and Andrew’s photoshoot in the gardens and in some of the beautifully furnished and painting adorned grand rooms was simply beautiful – a genuine fairytale.

We are so thankful for this gorgeous couple who allowed us to share their wedding day. As you can see, they fully immersed themselves in enjoying their celebration with friends and family, completely carefree and in the moment – the best way to do it!

Bantry House – we can’t wait to return…
