Our unique approach to wedding cinematography allows an artistic and candid style to capture your wedding day and the events that go with it. We have a fresh, talented team and we know every event has it’s own story to tell – we are simply the artistic eye that puts yours together. Unobtrusive and low-key, we take in every detail while your guests get on with enjoying their day. Have a look at our
accolades section for genuine reviews from couples we have worked with.
Are Edithouse insured?
expand
Yes, we are fully insured. We have years of experience in Ireland and a reliable name within the business.
What is included in the price?
expand
Every Wedding will of course vary. Generally included are 3 DVD copies of your feature-length version which includes a 5 minute piece to music. Also, depending on your option, 3 copies of our 20 minute
extended highlights film is a popular feature. We can also host an online version of your short piece to music on our website – handy for friends and family abroad. Please
contact us with your details and to discuss a price.
What is the difference between the Highlight DVD and the full length?
expand
The Highlight DVD is a separate DVD which contains a ‘best bits’ version of your day. This is one of our most popular features as it is convenient for couples who want to show off their memories to friends and family, and those who won’t always have time to sit down and view the full length version.
Should we opt for more than one camera?
expand
We would recommend two cameras if you would like every detail of your day filmed – from you both getting ready in the morning to your first dance of the evening. Also, if you are having a larger wedding the second camera not only offers another perspective, but more comprehensive coverage.
Will we meet up with you before the wedding?
expand
Absolutely – It’s always a good idea to meet in person to go over the timings and detail of your event.
We like to get to know our clients a bit better before their big day!
When does filming start and end?
expand
We can start and finish whenever you like. We often begin with the bridal preparations, moving onto the ceremony to catch guests arriving while bride and groom make their final preparations. We generally stay until 10pm but this can be extended on the day if you so wish. Talk to
us about planning your day.
When can we expect our DVD?
expand
8-10 weeks after your wedding day.
Do you film all over Ireland?
expand
Yes, we travel all over the country. We have also filmed Weddings in France and Spain. There is a travel charge after the initial 150kms.
Do you film Civil Ceremonies
expand
Absolutely, and have done so many times. We have 9 years experience, so believe us when we say we have done it all!
OK that’s all fine – but we’re still unsure about getting our wedding filmed.
expand
All we can say is – talk to your friends and family, and those who have been through it before – after the event everyone wishes they had their wedding filmed. Have a look at some of our
short films, or better still let us post a
sample DVD out to you to help you with your decision.
