Well Edithouse have been completely run off our feet this Christmas with weddings galore! Christmas week really is proving to be a more and more popular time to get married each year and when the weather is this magical (and all the guests have made it there in one piece!) it is easy to understand why.

Paraic & Avene, December 2010

We started off on the 18th December down in Kilshane House for Elaine & Micheal. Lovely crisp day and everything went off without a hitch. Then onto Carton House on the 21st & 22nd for two weddings, everyone well and truely in the festive spirit at this stage. (View highlights from Paraic & Avene’s day here)There is something really romantic about this time of year, and with all the snowy weather we have had of late the ceremonies were extra special.

New Years Eve was spent at Fitzpatricks Killiney with Aoibhinn & Cormac. New Years Day we were off to Mayo to the picturesque Lisloughery Lodge. Again, beautiful frosty backdrops during the day and lots of warmth and craic later that night. We got some gorgeous shots of the wintry landscape down in Cong, both weddings are going to look fantastic.
It’s going to be a busy January working on all these Weddings!
